Welcome, and thanks for visiting
courage-iraq.com. We are proud to have had the opportunity to serve the United States, and are thankful for the priveldge of
having worked closely with our military men and women in Iraq.
The book
Courage - A Pictorial Essay on Life in Iraq Today is not a corporate or "for profit" venture.
The authors - two former FBI agents, and a former Iraqi Police officer - have witnessed first-hand what life is like in Iraq, and felt compelled
to tell a side of the story that is ignored by many in the media and politics. We wrote the book, compiled the
photographs, and are self-publishing and distributing it by ourselves, at our expense.
The profits from the
sale of our products go to charities which support wounded veterans, or the families of those who have made the
ultimate sacrifice in the service of the United States in the war on terror. The Fisher House and
the Freedom Alliance Support Our Troops Program will receive the profits from our sales - generally 10% to 20% of the
retail price. Our book describes in word and picture the incredible courage that is exhibited
by the US military and their coalition partners in many thousands of selfless acts of bravery, kindness, and compassion
which occur each and every day here. In spite of the terror attacks wreaking carnage in Iraq, these brave individuals
work around-the-clock to bring peace, stability, and comfort to the people of Iraq, who themselves show incredible courage
in their everyday lives. We've been inspired by what we've witnessed, and believe that once you know the "rest
of the story", you will be too.
Thank you for your patronage. Please spread the word about courage-iraq.com, support these worthy
charitable causes, and pray for and support our troops and the people of Iraq.

The intention of the terrorists, insurgents, and criminals in Iraq - to create sectarian strife by conducting
horrific attacks designed to instill hatred for those with contrary religious beliefs - has met with abject failure on a large
scale. The Iraqi people have opened their eyes to what groups like Al Qaeda and others stand for: death, destruction,
disunity, and anarchy.
The people of the United States, and those of our coalition partner countries should
be in awe of the incredible patriotism, professionalism, and courage shown by our troops against this most insideous of enemies.

in – never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor
and good sense. Never yield to force, never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." . . .Winston
